Welcome back to this weekly (as opposed to weakly) attempt to “Occupy the Blog-o-Sphere” each Thursday. I offer this hopefully uplifting message to brighten your day and bring something buoyant into your life. As you move through your day with a renewed, more light-hearted outlook, may you pass the good vibes along.

Scrappy wanted to brighten up your day, as he does mine every day. He will never admit it because he’s a terrier and terriers just don’t roll this way, but this was totally his idea.

Um, I guess I'm Buddhist like my mom, so I'm just going to say "Happy Festivus for the Rest of Us." (And this wasn't my idea. Can you tell?)

Okay. I'll smile for the camera if you promise to take these antlers off of me. I have a proud terrier reputation to uphold.

I don't know how Lassie, Benji, or that cute dog in the Traveler's insurance commercial do it. These photo shoots are exhausting.

Seriously, People. Mom and I wish you all the best that life has to offer. And don't worry about the Mayan Prophecy. Personally, I think someone's chisel slipped, they got fired (maybe literally), and then never got back to the calendar because they were being attacked. Stuff like that happened back then.
