Lighting up the Blog-o-sphere one flicker at a time, 9/27/12

Welcome back to this weekly (as opposed to weakly) attempt to “Occupy the Blog-o-Sphere” each Thursday. I offer this hopefully uplifting message to brighten your day and bring something buoyant into your life. As you move through your day with a renewed outlook, may you pass it along.

Are you frustrated with “the way things are?” Maybe they aren’t that way after all. Try looking at things from a different angle, or with a fresh perspective.

Click on this link to find out more about joining Soul Dipper’s cyber-movement to lighten up and brighten up our world so you can decide if you want to be part of it.

  1. I am just calling by to wish you a most
    excellent start to your week, and by the
    way I like the new look around here, it
    is indeed very ‘Chaotic Soul’ :) :)

    Have fun today Lorna ;) :)

  2. I haven’t been around much this week, I need to do some catching up with your blog!

    Excellent quote! :)

  3. What an excellent work!!
    Thanks for sharing it :D
    Have a great day

  4. Exceedingly timely post, Lorna. Thanks! :-)

  5. It’s when we limot ourselves to one view that we have conflicts with our inner and outer selves.
    Love the coks, too. I collect all kinds of wacky socks. The first odd socks I wore were during the long labor hours of my first born. The nurses and doctors were constantly laughing and commenting. Ever since, I’ve worn them to make my house guests and hubby laugh.
    Great post … a lil late for me but my immune system has been down. Rest is my only salvation.
    namaste,
    Izzy

    • OMG … I am still tired. Did you noticed that word – coks – ???? OMG .. that is embarrassing. Is that a Fraudian slip? AND … look at that word – limot – what is that? It’s supposed to be limit. What the hay ….!!!! ???? LOL

    • I wanted to do a post about changing one’s perspective, then I saw this picture and just had to use it. I had a whole little “lecture” written about being stuck in the mud, blaq, blah, blah, but I decide to let the picture do most of the talking. I hoped that would work. I think it did. :)

      • YUP .. sometimes, even with words – less is more.
        Enjoyed it a lot ….!!!!

        P.S. – You should try Wordless Wednesday. You don’t have to take the photo. It’s a way of posting without the need to write something about it or respond to comments. Believe me it is hard to post something you want to say something about but want the viewer to accept what it is all on its’ own.
        ~~~~~ : – )
        • I was thinking about it. Maybe when the editing is done on my book. It’s quite a time-consuming (and energy-consuming) process. I thought writing the manuscript was the hard part…
  6. Heehee..I’m going sock shopping TOMORROW!!
  7. Yah…the socks. They’d help the visual acuity!
  8. Love the socks!
Now it's your turn! Don't be shy...I wasn't!
