Lighting up the Blog-o-sphere one flicker at a time, 9/06/12

Welcome back to this weekly (as opposed to weakly) attempt to “Occupy the Blog-o-Sphere” each Thursday. I offer this hopefully uplifting message to brighten your day and bring something buoyant into your life. As you move through your day with a renewed outlook, may you pass it along.

The shortest distance between two people is a smile.

I was thinking about wrinkles and how I’d rather get them from smiling not from frowning.  I hope you agree.  If not, stop here.  But if you want to risk a few facial creases of the happy variety and lighten up the internal and external atmosphere where ever you are, take a look at the pictures I nabbed from Google Images.

Here’s to the smiles that hopefully bring us closer together…

Were the wrinkles worth it?

  1. Happy wrinkles all over my face! Thanks for adding more :)

  2. I’ll happily add to my laugh lines with you cheery posts. What a blessed treat. I get the feeling – you enjoy always. T

  3. My sister says animals can’t smile. I’ll have to send her a link to this marvelous collection. Thanks!

    • My dog Scrappy smiles at me every day–he as the cutest little toothy smile that he only flashes when I know he’s in a good mood. Animals definitely smile. :) And remember, humans are animals, too!

  4. Heehee … SUPER BIG SMILE on my face at this hour of the night or morning (3:30 am). Thanks for a smile, especially, tonight. A little nervous about an MD app’t tomorrow. A smile can help a frazzle fo away. Thanks, Lorna.

  5. Cute! My daughter is sitting in my lap and loved seeing the pictures.

  6. So cute, I was grinning from ear to ear. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Sitting here with a goofy grin, Lorna! What a perfect collection of photos for your message.

BTW…Thanks for great, still photos. Since repetitious motion affects me physically, the stillness of today made for an easy visit.

  8. What’s that old saying? “Smile and the (animal) world smiles with you.” Something like that.

  9. Smiling animals – gotta love ‘em! :)

Now it's your turn! Don't be shy...I wasn't!
